Red face OK, think I received I-17H

I received an envelop from Homeland Security yesterday, and I think it was my I-17H. It was white, and it just stated that I was approved to adopt up to 2 children, along with 2 attached I-600 forms. If so, do I need to do anything with it, or just hold onto it? They said it was being sent to Moscow so that's why I assume it is. Yeah!! Now I just have to wait to get my addendum to hs back from apostilling. Hopefully the agency can still look for me. Onto next step of waiting.

Hey,
check the lower left hand corner in tiny print. It should say 171H.

This is generally sent over with your dossier (if that is what it is). Perhaps contact your agency.

Congrats! now go to the notary.

Get some notarized copies, and hold onto them tight. You will only need the first page notarized - the one that says you are approved for 2. The other ones should be brought with you and filled out in Moscow.

check with your agency. My wanted a copy sent immediately, even if the dossier wasn't in yet. Like everything else, each agency probably handles it slightly differently.

We had the same question...

We had the same question when we received our I 171H. For some reason, it did not look as "official" as we thought it would. But that is what it is.....
We asked our case manager, and she said it had to be notarized and apostilled for our Dossier (we live in FL, so it may be different in other states.)
