Officially Introducing myself (Pinkie)
Hello Everybody, I just wanted to officially introduce myself.
You can see that I have been fairly active on the boards since about last October, I was looking at Nepal and Colombia before deciding on Russia. I signed with the Agency tonight so thought this was the perfect opportunity to say "hello". I'm a 39 year old, soon to be single parent, living in Spain. I'm greatly looking forward to becoming a mum albeit it probably wont happen until nearer the end of this year. Anyway, just wanted to say that I enjoy "joining in" on this Forum. Hi, Pinkie... Welcome! Hope the IA process goes smoothly and quickly for you. (By the way, on our second trip--during a long 10-day wait--we spent quite a bit of time with a couple from Madrid who was adopting a little boy from the same Russian orphanage.)

Hello everyone, thank you for your warm messages of support.
I'm from England (a city called Leicester) but have lived in Spain for about 14 years. Its a lovely small island called Mallorca (can also be spelt Majorca) and about 35 minutes by plane to Barcelona and just over an hour by plane to Madrid.

I lived in Sevilla
I lived in Sevilla for about 6 months as a student. I loved Spain, and can't wait to go back!!
Have you been to Sevilla? I've heard Majorca is gorgeous!

Welcome Pinkie, I am also a single mom and have been back with my child for a little over 6 months. Its great being a single mom. My daughter is terrific and I just love her to pieces.
As a matter of fact when I was over in Russia on my first trip I met 2 single ladies that was from Spain adopting. I wish you all the best. Keep us posted on your progress.
