We are here in Russia
OMG! We are finally here and met the little love of our life.
We were suppose to go to the MOE first thing Monday but I guess she was busy so they told us 1:30pm. I was so nervous because of the delay. It was a blind referral and we didn't know what to expect. Well let me tell you. What a wonderful experience. The MOE meeting was a whole 5 minutes. She asked 2 questions and then turned her computer around to show us her picture. I started to cry right way because she is only a little over 5 months old. And she is just precious. We went to the ophanage and they brought her in while we were still talking to the doctor. I became so distracted that my dh had to get the info for the IA doctor. She came to me with no problem and just loves my hubby. She has big blue eyes, light brown hair, and very pale skin. She smiles alot and doesn't cry at all. She fussed just a little when she started to get tired, and then fell asleep right in my arms. We are still waiting for the IA doctor to get back to us. The camera lost all the pictures of the first days so we had to send the information today. At this point I don't think it matters because we are in love. We are just beaming and I have never seen my husband so happy before. -Jo Proud Mama to Brianne Galina (We decided to keep her Russian first name as her middle name)

Good NEWS same orphange??
We are so happy for you!! What orphanage are you at? We were with Olga (she was our translater) and our son was in the Specialized regional Orphanage? Are you there? Please send pictures. It makes me smile to think someone else is visiting the place where our little boy is waiting for us to come back and get him. If your translater is Olga or her mom, tell her Amanda & Jerry send their love and are awaiting the court date!!! Please PM if you would like to chat about our very special place.

Sounds like she was definately worth the wait!!
 So glad everything has worked out so well!! And I love the name...I used to work with a very beautiful girl from the Ukraine who was named Galina...may your daughter be just as lovely and sweet as she was!! Enjoy your little girl!!!

We got the OK from the IA doctor and we official accepted our referral for our little girl. I am just dancing on air.
