I am from Flowery Branch, GA waiting for a court date in St. Petersburg so that we can bring our two boys home. We originally wanted Moscow, but they didn't anticipate any referrals anytime soon and Moscow wasn't dependable, so we switched to St. Petersburg.

I'm in Atlanta finishing up my dossier! I will be sending it to Pskov and
Tula. I am hoping to adopt 2 sibling girls between 2 and 4. How long did
the INS in Atlanta take to get you 1-600A back to you? Still waiting since
February!!

My husband and I are in Cary, NC. We are just beginning the process, researching agencies and trying to make a decision by the end of summer.

We hope to adopt an infant boy in 2005.

WOW! It is great to see that there are so many of us right here in the Atlanta area!


jablfl, we sent in our homestudy on 3/31 and had our approval in our hands on 4/6. I have a friend who sent hers in that same day and has not gotten a response. She actually had to go down there to see if there was a problem. Come to find out they had misfilled her homestudy. You may want to check into it if you have a feeling something may not be right. She had "that feeling" and there was something wrong. I hope you have that approval soon!
