Has anyone found a good baby book/life book for adopted children? All of the ones I have seen dont seem very sturdy. Tracy

we bought the I am Chosen book from AdoptShoppe and we love it, it is like a binder/scarpbook and you can order additional pages. We have our whole family involved in putting it together. It has been fun!

For ours I picked one of the scrapbook/albumns we got from our wedding (everyone seem to give us one, I had 4 left over) It's yellow and gold with a few freeform hearts on it. I plan to take the "married on" page out and make the lifebook right on to the blank pages.

Of course that means you don't get the pre-printed first step, first word, that kind of stuff, but you can buy scrapbook inserts from your local craft store.

I received a baby/life book from a friend when she found out we were adopting. It is called 'Our Chosen Child'- How you came to us and the growing up Years".

It starts out with typical family tree, all about mom & dad sections and then goes on to the following: Waiting For You, When we first saw you, naming ceremony, adoption day, traveling with you...etc. I love it and can't wait to fill it out!

The author is Judith Levy and I've seen it advertised in several magazines that I get in the mail.
