Adopting from Omsk Region
You are the first and only person I know who is adoping from Omsk. I'm told the medical information on the children is scant, and I'm very worried about FAS. How detailed was your referral from Omsk? And did you ever find out just why it's taking so long to get a court date?

Omsk adoption
I am adopting from Omsk. I will be going back there Sept. 15 for my second trip. My baby boy is healthy; the children I saw there were care for as well as can be expected.

We are adopting from Omsk as well. I have spoken with many families who have been successful recently there and they say the orphanages are very good and the care is excellent. We are happy to be in this region and are just waiting for our referral (which we are told moves fast in this region 4-6 weeks!)
We expect some news in Januaray after they reopen. Kat.
