summer camps for adoptable children

Does anyone know anything about the summer camps programs in America for overseas orphanges?

We heard that adoptable children can come over from Russia, Ukraine and maybe even Kaz for a 3-5 week summer camp. They come over in hopes of being adopted.

Do they have this program in Missouri?

Can you participate if you are out of state?

How old is are the children?

Any information would be appreciated!

Thanks!

sorry!

I am new to this type of emailing and am getting familiar with the rules---.
How could I have formed a better question to find out what I want to know?
Can you please help.?
Who would I contact via PM? I am happy to do it this way.....but don't know enought people on board to know just who to ask?

So--I cannot say anything about who has summer program?
I can't mention the word agency on board? Sorry that I wasn't more careful---I just didn't get the understanding of the rules.

How can I find out about camps, countries, what to know about orphanges and ages of children?

Thank you for your help, guidance and assistance!
It is greatly appreciated!

Mabelr,

You are welcome to request information, your post above is fine. However, responses, if they include agency names/information, need to be made via PM, which is why the above post was edited...

Your post is ok, the reply was not.

Unhappy more question.....thanks for your help!!

BrandyHagz,

Thank you so much for your help.

Was it my last reply that wasn't okay?

How could I have worded my question differently?

I am soooo new that I am sooo confused about the wording of these questions. Other people use the word agency and country and fees and they aren't getting into trouble.

I really don't want to cause problems, get kicked off the site ( really love it) or keep getting into trouble.

So would you be able to help me form my question----either on this site or in PM? I also asked about 5 other questions today and they are probably all asked wrong!! I sure hope not. :-(

Thank you for all your responses and time
I am very grateful!!

Mabelr,

You dont need to change a thing...again, your post was fine!

The response above made by "donnamom" was in violation of the ToS, so I edited it to remove the violation...

Oh honestly,

This new rule about posting is driving me crazy. Almost all of the programs involve a fee to bring the children over and have some sponsorship from adoption agencies. It's hard to give you any info without refering you to a list of agencies. However, some programs charge more or less than others.

Try an google internet search on the following
'russian summer adopt program'
'summer miracle program'

I did a lot of research of this but have decided to adopt a younger child than my son. (He is six.) The kids in these programs are generally between 6-12.

email me if you want any further information.

I don't understand this, now people here can't even state which agencies/facilitators do summer camps? It's not like they were giving good/bad referrals, just stating which agencies do what. What's wrong with that? Not all agencies/facilitators do summer programs. Why can't there be a list of just those agencies without comments about them? That would be kind of like stating which agencies do Ukraine adoptions and which ones do China? Only stating which do and which don't. Is this against the rules as well? Just wondering?

Ellen

Ellen,

Yes, ALL agency discussions must take place in private.
