Did any of you take laptops and if you did, how did that work??

Also, if you take digital camera and use the hotel computer can you download pics if you want to email?? Also, was there ever a time you could not get to computer..is there just one?? At the Radisson n Moscow???

We took TWO digital cameras, because one runs on normal batteries- so if we could not charge the other camera's battery we would still have one. We never used a computer in Moscow. In Novokutnesk we did find an "internet cafe" and paid next to nothing to send three pics back home. Actually checking our email made us feel not so "out of the loop". We are taking our laptop this week when we leave on trip two for movies and games for our three year old. Plus, for all the downtime we will have while we are there for 14 days!!!

We took a video camera which can take photos and my 35mm. Never leave home without it LOL

At the Radisson I used the internet each day for 5.00 per 15 min. I loved this to read emails from home and to send updates to everyone.

In region it was 5.00 per hour to use the computer but it was very slow.

We never did have photos sent home- prior to the court date you still are very casious because of the internet poilcy some agencies have.

I'm sorry -- I am new to this.

What internet policies are you referring to?

Are you able to send pictures to a doctor in the US? More importantly are you able to send pictures to the new grandparents?

Some agencies have internet policies that state you are not to discuss any info about your referral.......you do not want anything to hurt your adoption. Also, we have to remember that there are laws in Russia and the People there can see this forum or any other just as we can!! They also say you can't discuss other things........you would be better getting to know someone bny phone as some of us have done!!!
