We got our call to travel on our first trip January 20!!! We are going to St. Petersburg. Of course I have dreamed of the moment I would receive that blessed call. I could have never imagined the real picture in all my dreams.

I went to Shop Rite after work to pick up a few things for dinner and there in aisle 3 the phone rings. Can you imagine? I had this all planned with all my questions and of course I couldn't concentrate in aisle 3 with a crowd of people snarling because I was blocking the aisle. I guess another case of you can never plan a thing.

Needless to say we are so excited. I am not sure about anything else, so I will call today and get more details. Thanks for all well wishes, may everybody's phones start ringing. Do forget the grocery store can be a great experience!!

WWWWOOOOHHHHOOOO!!!!!!!! I remember that feeling very well!! I was in the midle of a huge staff meeting (about 90 people crammed in a room), and I had to fight my way to the door. The secretary was waving at me, and I was thinking about how I could strangle her for calling me out for a phone call. Needless to say, I hugged her instead...

I am now waiting for THE CALL for #2. Wonder where I will be this time?

We're just getting our I-600A together to send in today. It's so exciting to hear about people who are nearing the end (or the beginning of the important part, I guess)! It really keeps me going.

You'll have to tell us all the details when you get them. Is it a referral or an invitation? If it's a referral, is it a boy or a girl? How old? And I know the other St. Petersburg parents are going to want to know which baby home.

This is so exciting for you! Enjoy every second of it.

IAG also usually has short waits between trip 1 and 2, so your little gal should be home before the end of February! Wow... I am so excited for you... I was really hoping that they would have your travel plan this week!

How exciting for you guys Dina!!!! We got "the call" for our second trip dates when I was in the doctor's office with my youngest who is recovering from pnemonia. (And, of course, I was supposed to have my phone off!) It looked really strange that I got so excited and happy with a sick little guy on my lap in the middle of a crowded office.

However it came doesn't matter, we are just so thankful it came!

Best of luck to you! We are laving on the 23rd for Kemerovo. At least in St. Pete's there is something to see and it is not as cold as our region. We are going to freeze!

Woohoo Dina, That is great! I've been checking the forum everyday because I knew that all of you waiting Moms would get calls this week.

We are getting closer everyday to getting our paperwork to Russia. We are just about finished assembling our paperwork for the Dossier and we are waiting for our HomeStudy final copy.

Woohoo!! That's fantastic. I remember when we got the call from IAG to go get our daughter. I was sitting at my desk at work at the time. What a moment. What an exciting time for you!

We went to the Moscow Region for our daughter, but I hear St. Petersburg is just beautiful.
