has anyone had good or bad experience with this agency?

we are looking into adoption in Russia and moldova thru them.
we are new at this,any advice helpful.

I am not familiar with that particular agency but I too am in Michigan and my husband and I have been working with European Adoption Consultants, Inc. out of Cleveland, OH. Their Michigan Director has adopted from Russia through EAC. Also, your social worker that would do your home study used to work as the Michigan Director for the agency. She really knows her stuff if you get in a bind and need to call her in a pinch. If you go on their web site www.eaci.com you will be able to pull up there seminar dates. They have been wonderful. We started the process mid February and received our first referral today (June 29th). I hope this helps you.

Congrats on your referral Gretchin,
We are also using EAC. We just submitted our Russian dossier to them, although we've been working with them since we submitted our Guatemalan dossier in February (long story.) I hope everything goes well for you. Please keep me posted!

It was so nice to hear from you. My husband and I are waiting for the FedEX man as we speak. Neither one of us wants to go to far from home today...though it is driving us crazy. I was happy to see other EAC Families on the boards. I hope things start moving along for you.
