travel with children
We will be taking our first trip to Russia this summer. We are considering taking our bio children, age 10 and 12, along with us. Have any of you taken children along when taking adoption trips? Specifically, how was Russia to travel in? Thanks for the info!

I can't speak for Russia, but I am single & took my 7-year old on the trip to get my 3 year old. Maria was great help and I would do it again. Consider how well your kids deal with new foods, new circumstances, not being the center of attention, and your desire to share the special moments with the whole family vs the new child. I also was concerned about how long she'd be out of school - for us it was one week, but if it had been longer, I might have decided differently.
