Roma, letter to EU President (cross-post)
For anyone so inclined, I received this sample letter to forward to the President of the European Commission expressing concern about the expulsion of Roma people from France and other countries right now--and encouraging the EU to do a better job supporting the Roma.
The European Commission needs to know that the current treatment of Roma people is disgraceful! Emailing the President of the European Commission will only take a moment! Please find ways to pass this on to others who may also be inclined to email a letter. ~~ Dr. Jose Manuel Durao Barroso President of the European Commission Email: Jose-Manuel.Barroso@ec.Europa.EU Dear Dr. Barroso: I am writing to ask the EU's attention to the barbaric and extremely unjust treatment of Roma people today in France and other EU countries. The EU must do everything in its power to stop the expulsion of Roma from France, Italy and other countries. The EU additionally needs to do much more than it currently is doing to promote housing, jobs and education for the Roma. Sincerely,

November 28 -transfer "Abu" and "Genie" only to lose them 2.5 weeks later.  April 2012 - transferring our last 2 snowbabies, the "Pixie Stix"
