Older Adoptees Returning - Youtube Video - Back to the Roots
I came across a series of videos on Youtube which featured a group of American adoptees - all in their late teens or early-20's. They returned to Romania to meet their birth parents & families, and also spent time working at an orphanage. The Youtube videos were Romania TV coverage of their trip. Very powerful and heart warming stories.
Here's a link, but if you search "Youtube Back to the Roots Romania" it should pop up. YouTube - Back to the Roots (1) The "young adults" or "adults" came cross great - and probably inspired more people than they realized. Special thanks to whoever did the translation and put it on Youtube. My two "adoptees" 18 and 21 were very moved and it provolked some great discussions.
