Parents of older children may remember Patreascu Peberdy, one of Bury Lawn’s success stories. Adopted from the Ungureni Irrecuperable Orphanage in Romania, he now lives in Cyprus with his adoptive parents, working as a cameraman for Omega Television, editing and producing his own programmes. He is now taking part in the Tall Ship’s Race, on the Tenacious, to raise money for “The Mission to Seafarers.” Anyone who would like to contribute to Patreascu’s efforts for this charity, can send a
