Incredible Success Story
Patreascu Peberdy's amazing story was chronicled by his mother Beverly in her 1996 book "Do Robins Cough?" Excerpts appeared in the September 1997 issue of Reader's Digest titled "The Lost Children of Romania"
http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/...805143-3044660 Here is an update: Parents of older children may remember Patreascu Peberdy, one of Bury Lawn’s success stories. Adopted from the Ungureni Irrecuperable Orphanage in Romania, he now lives in Cyprus with his adoptive parents, working as a cameraman for Omega Television, editing and producing his own programmes. He is now taking part in the Tall Ship’s Race, on the Tenacious, to raise money for “The Mission to Seafarers.” Anyone who would like to contribute to Patreascu’s efforts for this charity, can send a cheque to: The Mission to Seafarers, St Michael Paternoster Royal, College Hill London, EC4R 2RL.
