Placement Center #1, Satu Mare.

Hi, Has anyone ever been to, or adopted a child that was placed in Placement Center no.1?

Our son was there and for various reasons when we went to Romania to get him, I never got further than Bucharest. I am trying to put together as much as possible for him to see when he is ready and have NOTHING from his life prior to us.

Marc was adopted in Sept. of 99.

Please tell me anything you may know. Thanks.

I volunteer and work with orphans in a town called Marghita which is about 50 miles south of Satu Mare. I have never been there but have friends there. I am leaving for RO in two weeks. If there is any possibility of getting some info, I will try to.

I would be so appreciative. I would especially love it,(though I will not be choosy) if you could find out the name of anyone that Might have pictures of the orphanage and region that I could contact and get copies of for Marc's book.
