Did you know that the U.S. provides very generouly tax allowances for adopting from Romania? Romania is considered a "special needs" country and the U.S. gives a $10,000 and $5,000 tax credit (one is federal and the other is state but I can't remember which is which).

Hi Maureen, We recently adopted a little girl from Romania, I have 2 bio children and I am 44 years old and my husband is 52. This is both of our 2nd marriages and we had no trouble adopting. Hope this helps
