I never thought I would see this day. Last November, the most precious angel (a search angel) dropped me an e-mail after seeing my messages and told me she had found my birthdaughter. When I googled the name she gave me, I almost fell off of my chair. There she was -- a younger version of me only more beautiful. Even though she is 22, I contacted her adoptive parents and with much hesitation they told her about me and gave her the pictures and letter I sent to them. We are now communicating via e-mail daily as she is in KY and I am in SD. She is not only beautiful, she is smart, well educated, hilariously funny, sensitive and did I mention hilariously funny. The apple didn't fall far from this tree. We are taking this new relationship slow. If I have learned anything from this website, I have learned that moving forward slowly is key.
