I just wanted to post a message to warn all prospective adoptive parents. There is a woman who claims to live in California, her name is Melissa/Missy Elliot! She contacts people who have placed ads on boards wanting to adopt a baby! She claims that she is expecting and wants nothing but to put her baby in a good loving home. Please, do not even talk to this woman. She is a scam artist! She has scammed me and my husband out of $3000.00 and I have recently found out that she is still scamming other prospective adoptive parents.I was contacted by another woman today who has been contacted by Missy Elliot. Missy, or whatever her REAL name is, will start by telling you that all she wants is a good home for this baby. She will claim that she doesn't want any money from you at all. But then, after a while things will come up where she will need rent, or maybe air fare, (in my case) or money for groceries to feed her other children. This woman knows what she is doing. She knows EXACTLY which buttons to push to make you feel like she is sincere. She will even go as far as to tell you that she will do whatever you want to make this easier for you! And if you doubt her, she will claim to be so hurt! This woman is a good con artist! She must have been doing this for awhile. Because she really knows what to say and she has a reason for everything!
