Can you please answer a question for me. We have a friend in

Ecuador, South America who is about to have a baby (she is 4 months) and we want to adopt it, I am from that country and

my husband is a U.S. citizen. How would we go about it? If not where can we search for more information? Thank You.

I don't know if she has experience with Ecuador, but her agency has done many adoptions from South American countries. If you are in the Midwest or the East, I would suggest starting with Children's Home Society in Minnesota at 651-646-6393 or 1-800-952-9302 (within MN and western WI). Even if you don't live in the Midwest, CHS has partner agencies in various states throughout the country and might be able to help you there.
