domestic adoption
Has anybody had a good experience with a domestic adoption agency? or attorney? I had a bad experience with one so we went to guatemala. but I don't want to have to travel overseas again. please pm if you have something good to say about domestic! thanks!

We had some initial problems, but otherwise we are pretty happy with ours. Happy, healthy baby, I got to be in the delivery room, we see birthfamilies often and everything is fine. It was 9 months from initial paperwork to placement. Finalization took place 6 months later.

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! We did a private domestic adoption and had a wonderful experience all the way through. We met our birthmother through a friend of a friend three months before our daughter was born. We got to build a great relationship with "E" her birthmother and her extended family as well as be in the delivery room. Our attorney was wonderful and everything went very smoothly.
