grandchild adoption

Hi any adoption requires an attorney. You might need to contact your county's Dept of Human Services or a "children's home" in your area that typically adopts special needs (not that your grandchild is) just that they handle more kinds of adoptions and could probably help you.

We were told that in most relative adoptions a home study is not done and the fees are low. Check with an attorney and he/she will advise you of your states laws and what you need to do.
