hi--i honestly do not know anything about the subject of adoption (except for the basics) and i need all the help i can get. i have a teenage cousin who got pregnant 4 years ago and decided to keep the baby. from that day forward she has not taken care of nor cared about the welfare of the child. my aunt has had her in her care for at least 2 years now. my cousin is a drug addict and my aunt is addicted to pain pills. im my opinion she is the lesser of two evils. my husband and i love my baby cousin like she is our own--we have "sleepovers" as much as we can and care for her more than my aunt and cousin put together. after a hard conversation with my aunt, we decided that letting my husband and i adopt my baby cousin is whats in her best interest. can someone help with any information?? i am completely new to this and any advice would be much appreciated!
