granparent adoption
I am 59 years old and I have had custody of my 11 year old grandaughter for 2 years I just recently been really sick and I don't know how much longer really I have left, but I was wondering if you knew anything that would help me adopt my grandaughter I DO NOT want her to go back to her mother. My husband is 70 years old and he is not her bioligical grandfather but we were concerned that with my health the way it is would it still be possible for us to adopt our grandchild?

Is your grand daughter with you through the social services? if so, check with them.
