Adult Adoptee Support Group/Los Angeles
Hi -
I am new to this site. I have recently realized that I need to confront issues surrounding my adoption head on since they seem to be preventing me from sustaining a committed relationship. I am in search of an adult adoptee support group anywhere in or near Los Angeles. If anyone could direct me I would be very grateful.

I'm also interested in a support group in the LA area if you find one. I'm a 25 year old female who is also adopted and trying to confront the effects of adoption. If you're interested in chatting, or maybe meeting for coffee or something, we can do that too. We could be each other's support group.

New to site as well, I live in Studio City area let me know if there are any in the Los Angeles area. I feel you. I have trouble with long-term committed relationships and now realizing how my adoption had an effect

Think it's great you gals are meeting up - also hope that it turns into a regular thing for you.
No reason you shouldn't form your own group - don't know how you would start one, but perhaps a local church would allow you to use a room/hall as a start?? LET US KNOW HOW IT TURNS OUT!!!!
