in search of birth parents
please help! i have been searching for years and to no avail. i was born on feb 12, 1968 in akron ohio. I believe i was born in st vincents hospital and put up for adoption by catholic services or catholic charites. i was adopted around sept of 1968. i am registered at recorders office in akron but i have moved. cant give up but i feel like it will never happen. thank you

Not sure about laws in your state. I was adopted through SRS in Kansas. What I did was send $10 to vital statistics for my original birth certificate. I knew I was adopted through SRS so i contacted them and requested my paperwork. I also went to the courthouse of the county I was adopted in and got my paperwork (that can be costly). Once I knew my b-mom's name it was perty easy to contact her family and her I searched the area where she was born. Hope this helps some.
