I was talking to my son's amom just a minute ago, she got another call while we were talking. It was the lawyer. He said that the bfather didn't register, so his rights are terminated!!! I'm so happy, I was so afraid he would register. It's finally over, I can't believe it. I feel like I won the game.(his family had asked a lawyer if they could have the baby) they thought I was going to hand him over to them!!! yeah right!! After they try to force me to have an abortion, then they want him. I just had to share my happiness!!!!

I am happy for you and the adoptive parents.. And I also think that is great that you talk to the adoptive mom on the phone..Do you get to visit with your child???

Oh My Gosh Cogratulations!!!!

I just a lost a baby because of the same situation. Father wanted the mother to get an abortion, she refused, he harrassed her so bad to get one that she put a restraining order against him. He denied this was his child when the agency contacted him and told the agency he wants no part of it.

Now that the baby is born, a little boy, he wants the child. He's 17, a high school drop out and works in a gas station. Since she wouldn't hand over her baby to him either, she couldn't place him without his signatures, she has been forced to parent him. She told me she wasn't ready for this and didn't have one thing. It broke my heart because I had an entire room and dressor full for him that I would have to return.

Oh well, things always happen the way their meant to. I'm glad you stood firm. Hugs to you!

We visit weekly, we only live 10 minutes from each other. She lets me babysit. Whenever I go to her house she lets me bring a family member with me, so they can see the baby. We talk on the phone everyday sometimes twice a day. So far everything is perfect, I don't know why it can't be like this for everyone.
