Dear Tammi, Wow! Congratulations! I bet you are just bursting with joy and perhaps some trepidation? Seems perfectly normal to me. Your idea of meeting him first sounds like a great idea, maybe even a few times(I don't know if distance is an issue). For me I needed to work through the emotions brought on by reunion before bringing my children into the mix 'so to speak'. When the time was right I just felt good about it. I'm sure your son (now dosen't that sound great?) is probably feeling much the same about his daughter. Likely it will come up in conversation when you feel comfortable. Again I'm very pleased for you and your son. Hope you'll keep us in the loop?
Hugs
Rose

Tammi - I agree with Rose that if it is possible, you should try to meet with your son one on one first...the emotions that surface are pretty incredible (good and difficult...well, hopefully mostly good, as was the case with my reunion) and it would be ideal if the two of you can get your feet on the ground a bit first before bringing the children into the mix. Either way, I do wish you the very very best...I can imagine you are riding the roller coaster right now! Please keep us posted and I will think positive thoughts for you!
