I just haven't posted in awhile how awesome my little guys are. They can be so sweet!

JD was reading to JM last night. It was so cute. JM kept running and getting another book. He'd climb up in JD's lap and JD would read to him.

Also, whenever we pick up JD from school, JM runs to him and hugs him real big and JD kisses the top of JM's head. It is just too cute and sweet!

Oh yeah, I had to bring back a huge bag of acorns from TN. They are actually hickory nuts, but the boys collected a huge bag of them. At least this time it wasn't a bottle of dirt. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if we have a few TN sticks in our yard now, too.

How cute Ani! Amazing how one day they are terrors and another minute sweet and quiet. One thing I know as much as my boys fight.....they do love each other and your boys do too!

So what do you plan to do with a bag of acorns?

It does melt my heart each day!

Michelle, so far, the boys just want to keep the acorns in their bag. LOL, not sure what they want with them, but they like to look at them.

So we have a new adventure when picking JD up from school!

I look over and JM is standing in a corner (outside and no one else is around) and he had his pants down to his ankles and he was using the bathroom!

Hey Girls,
Still here and pluggin' along, only 2 more weeks and this term is done. I know I am, stick a fork in me already!!!!
Had to laugh at your little guy Ani. When Alex was 4 he was playing in the front yard one day, I was putting away laundry and looked out the window as I passed by, and there;s my little man drawers down 'round his ankles, peeing in the front yard. Do you at think he at least was facing toward the house?? NOOOO, he was facing the street, not that it was a busy street or anything, it was in base housing, but still!!! I didn't know whether to laugh or string him up by his toes. I just settled for, when we are near the house and/or bathroom, we use it, not the front yard, or tree or whatever. Was tough, he had a friend whose parents let him go outside, even if it was next to the front door.
Sure hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving, we did. Have a great week, Shelley

Hope everyones Holiday season is going great?! Shopping all done?

I have to share that yesterday I had an eye appointment and found with my "advanced" years....lol need a whole new priscription(can't spell today) so what better reason to get new glasses. Well little M was with me as was dh. Little M did not like any of the glasses. Each one I would try on he would say "I don't like them mommy" and this went on for 30 minutes. I finally settled on a pair with rhinestones....and little M says...I don't like them but they sure are sparkley!

Today we decorated Christmas cookies and little M's idea of decorating is to take a cookie and icing and put it on the cookie and then eat the icing off and then put more icing on the same cookie. He was using green icing so his nose is still green several hours later and we don't have anymore green icing as you can imagine. Now big M decorated the gingerbread men and he got quite elaborate with his cookies. THey had eyes, mouths, buttons, and of course they had to have hair using coconut. Sometimes a piece of coconut was used for the mouth as well ... you know to enhance the smile....

We had about 4 inches of snow today and big M built a small snowman. We are to get more tonight so we hope to get out tomorrow and build a really big one.

You all have a great weekend and stay safe and warm!

Well Ani...still need to shop!

Big M finished school today until January 7th. Wow that along time for me I think....lol

It was so cute to watch big M sing at his school "holiday" concert. Little M watched and clapped each time a song ended. It was fun to see them both. Wow its only another year and a half before I will be watching both boys sing.....booo...hooo! Time goes way to fast.

Okay I told you all that I ordered new glasses....I went to pick them up and little M cried all the way thru the store because he did not like my new glasses.

Yes they are very different from what I usually wear....they have rhinestones....but they are fun.
But both boys want to know where the original mommy is....so I gave them both a hug and kiss last night and said "am I not the same mommy" and they did agree just that I look different. Little M only asked 2 times today to change my glasses....lol

Somehow I just invited my inlaws and sister inlaw to dinner on Christmas day. So major shopping and cooking to do for that day. That okay....I like to cook and bake and have a new roaster for the turkey....lol

Alrighty I am now rambling....I wish you all a very safe and happy Christmas!!!!!
