Ani, I sure hope he is feeling better. Its not fun to have sick kids, boys or girls. They just want to be held and cuddled.

Take care!

Michelle

My 5 yr old son told me yesterday, "Mommy, I think I have a smart brain." He said this after I asked him a question (and of course he assumes I don't know the answer) and he figured it out.

My 2 yr old started laughing so hard at something the preacher said this morning that I had to take him out! He just couldn't stop! He got so tickled and couldn't quit.

I love my boys!

Yes it can be bittersweet! I am not there yet as he's not really potty trained. His pediatrician recommends waiting for boys until they are 2 1/2. I figured if he shows some serious signs of wanting to train then I'll get serious. right now he just occassionally wants to go. Once I train him I'll go 4 days straight w/o diapers to see if he really is ready. If he has fewer and fewer accidents then I'll keep going w/o diapers. If he has numerous accidents then it's back to diapers until he's more ready.

That's probably not the best potty training, but it worked with my oldest son.

OT: what are the three smileys that are turning in circles doing? They go back and fourth and then turn around and I can't tell what they're doing.

Ani how exciting that he actually told you before. Mine tells me during and right after. We just now put it into his potty and then put into the toilet and he flushes and waves bye to it.

I just caught my 2 year old about to jump off the top bunk bed...I forgot to move the ladder once big brother was up this morning. He thinks he is still superman and he can fly. He had his cape on and was ready to go. Thank heavens I happened to walk by the room at that moment. I can laugh now...but a few moments ago...more shock and fear...

Our boys keep us feeling young! However today I added more gray hair...lol

My Bug got his first black eye trying to scale the dresser in order to get to the top bunk!

My Bear also had his first "tattle tale"...at 19 months old. I walked into the room (you know, because it was a little TOO quiet) and Bear was sitting there on the floor playing nicely. He just looked up at me without missing a beat or changing expressions and pointed to the dresser. There stood Bug! I am just this side of nailing all the drawers shut in order to keep him out of the built in stairs!

Thanksgiving Program

My son had a Thanksgiving Program at school today. I sat on the floor with my 2 year old and had tears streaming down my eyes! He did so good! In the past, whenever he's had a performance, whether at church or wherever, he wouldn't do it. He'd just stand there and scowl at us. Today, he sang every song out loud and did all the motions and was a real trooper!
