K...that's so sweet, they grow up so fast and it sounds like you are cherishing every moment. My littlest one just turned a year and hasn't started walking yet and as much as I want him too, he's my BABY and I'm dreading it. He's so comical, he will stare right at me and do something I just told him not to, and then grin the biggest grin after he does it and I just can't get upset because it's so darned funny! He loves to chase his big brother and he's already picking up his temper, ugh...not such a good thing . He will scream and shake and it's hillarious, because all I have to do is say his name in a stern voice and he'll stop and then he'll grimace and make a crying sound, but absolutely NO tears...LOL. Then he'll stop to see my reaction and if I just look at him he'll grin from ear to ear and hold his arms up for me to pick him up....I just want to cry when I think of the day that will come when my baby boys are no longer babies, but men, but until that day...I will cherish all the wet kisses and loud boisterous laughs and him trying to bang his head into mine just for the fun of it ...owww . I will revel in my four year old when he tells me a story that makes no sense and act as though I know exactly what he's talking about and get excited and sound amazed at every detail. I love my daughter, she's my joy as well, but boys are definitely different...they are MY little men!

LOL! I hope he didn't "fix" his knee too hard! Too cute, sounds like you have a precious son.

GREAT POST!!

I love my boys with a capital LOVE!!

Love how Bug was sucking on his lolly-pop and gave the dog a taste then kept right on licking!

Love how Bear wanted in the bath with Bug SO much that he climbed in before I could get his pants, diaper, socks, and shoes off!

Love how Daddy called me at work because Bug had escaped out the back door (while Daddy was taking care of business in the bathroom) and was outside in the rain in his socks playing on Daddy's riding lawn mower!

Love when Daddy called me at work because Bear had learned how to flip the deadbolt closed...with Daddy on the outside. When Daddy went frantically looking for a window to crawl in, they promptly un-locked the door and went to playing in the toilet! (a good laugh after a HUGE panic)

Love how much they love their Mommy too. They can be so tough, but when they need loving, they want Mommy. Wouldn't change it for the world!

Celebration of boys huh? Here's a great one. Mine lil man likes to steal my keys. If I don't THINK about where I put them they disappear. And quick! LOL. So in the past year, He has stolen the mailbox key (the wonders of apt living). The first time he stole it, I couldn't find it for 2 whole months! I searched HIGH and LOW to no avail. Finally one day, I was cleaning and something shiney caught my eye UNDER the refridgerator. Yup, you guessed it, he had "hidden it" under the fridge. That was an adventure to get out. Now, you'd think I'd learn and make sure that key is out of reach the next time. Well, I'm a mom with about a million things running thru my mind. So, I leave it out again, within his reach and poof, it disappears. I spent several hours convincing lil man to tell me where he hid it. (At 2 years old.........hmmm) I finally gave up asking him, was getting me no where, so I grab the flashlight and start looking. Wasn't under the fridge THIS time, instead, he stuck it in our baseboard heating units. That was even more fun to dig out. Well, yesterday, once again, not thinking left my keys in his reach. Only this time I got smart, put the mail key to the rest of my keys. Uh huh, REAL smart MOM! LOL. All day I was looking for those stinking keys! Then nature called. I walked into the bathroom, low and behold, there they are.........in the POTTY!!!!! I tell ya, he's more and more creative each time. Now they are on a hook near the ceiling of my apt. He's a climber so I have to figure, he climbs on the couch so I can't put them in a normal height. So near the ceiling is high enough out of his reach whether he climbs or not! LOL.
Boys!!!! They make the world go round and every morning WORTH getting up for! LOL!

Just thought I'd share, not necessarily just a boy thing so much as kids say the darndest things! I had to make a short trip to the store yesterday and my four yr old son says...."can I get a lightmen a queen?", I said what is that dear...he said "YOU KNOW...a LIGHTMEN A QUEEN". I had to think real hard and we had just watched the commercial for the "cars" movie being released to DVD...I said you mean "Lightning McQueen" he says YEEESSSSS....LOL, I keep making him repeat it after me....LIGHTNING MCQEEN dear....

"I can't figure out how to fix it."

When I picked ds up from school today he said, "Mommy, I got a problem and I don't know how to fix it." So I said, "Why don't you tell me about it?"

He said, "Mommy, M doesn't think I like her anymore because I talk to A and told A how pretty she is. M starts crying and saying I don't like her anymore. Mommy, M is pretty too and she's still my friend. Mommy, I just can't figure girls out!"

LOL! I told him it doesn't get any easier!

Bajj that is way to cute!!

My son who is 6 was just saying how he thinks there are some cute girls in his class.

Wait....shouldn't it be longer before they like girls...lol.

I am so not ready for that!! We all have handsome little boys...some bigger and older and younger...but to have girls knocking on our doors for our sons...hmmmm not quite ready to think about that yet...lol.

Heart

I just wanted to play with the new smileys! LOL!

Boys !!!!

My oldest son was for Halloween. My little one was a blue crayon, and I don't see one of those so that's ok. I should have had him be a because he loves to dance.

They both like playing like they are .

OK, this is too fun, I'll stop now! LOL!

Oh Michelle! I bet it was fun. I was home with my sick 5 yr old today. He was so disappointed because he table won the "discpline" award and they were going to get to eat in the classroom with the teacher for lunch today. He woke up at 3:30 A.M. with a high fever and he's felt rotten all day. Poor little guy. He would ask me to hold him and then say he ached and just wanted to lay down and that made him hurt, too.

Once he was no longer having stomache problems we gave him some motrin and that has helped a lot.

Just gotta love our boys, huh? He's been so sweet today. He feels horrible yet I've probably heard at least 100 times (no exageration), "Mommy, I love you so much." What a sweetie pie he is!
