Hi everyone!

Shelley that does not sound like fun. Hope it isn't to painful. You take care!

Donna I think we will still talk. It is after all just a football game....lol

The snowman was built my me mostly while my 6 year old watched and my 2 year old wanted to eat the snow. But I had to watch where because of our dog....lol When my oldest woke up this morning he had to run and see if the snowman was still up. He is slowly melting. Not much left of mister snowman.

Ani you cheer up. Things will work themselves out.

And what is the deal with 3 am wakings. My youngest has started to talk in his sleep and sometimes wakes himself up. He talkes that he can't find his legos, or he lost his cape....lol You know superman must have a cape. And yes I am bad but he needs the comfort of a plastic bottle too. Makes a world of difference in sleeping.

You all have a great day!

Michelle

DS came home today with a homemade book. It says, My Pp book (they are learning about the letter p this week).

These are the words he wrote, and spelled, by himself in it!

pesa (pizza)
pie
picls (pickles)
pech (peach)
pancaks (pancakes)
pes (peas)
plat (plate)

It's SO CUTE!!!!!!

I still haven't heard from "someone" who is supposed to contact me from the insurance, and if they don't soon, I am going to have dh call them since I don't really feel like going round and round again!

Well for what it's worth, I'm back. I feel like I got run over by a Mac truck!!
When I asked the Doc yesterday how much recovery time I'd need she said "Well the main thing is the anesthesia, what I'm going to do to you wont hurt!' LIAR< LIAR pants on fire!!! SHe did a DNC then the ablation, I was fine with the heavy IV sedation. I don't remember going into the OR is how good it was :-)
I remember the nurse talking about buying a philly cheese steak, and the next thing I know I'm sitting up in bed drinking water. Was some really good "stuff"
SO about one, my procedure was just before 12, I think, I know they loaded the IV around 11:45, I started getting crampy, which they said I would. Ok I've had bad cramps before, have given birth 4 times, I know the drill. OH MY GOD!!!!! I thought I was going to die. It was like one enormous contraction, that never quit. They gaVE me motrin and percoset and that didn't help. FRom 1 until about 9:30 all I could do was lay and moan. Couldn't find a comfy spot to lay. I tried heating pad, sock of rice heated in microwave, ANYTHING I could think of. To top it off I had a migraine that was making me sick to my stomach, along with the reisdual sedation effects, I hadn't eaten since the night before and anything I put in my stomach promptly came back up!! YUCK. Thankfully I had the foresight to have Nana take the girls to spend the night with her. My 2 yo wanted to be on the bed with me, which was fine, Only he wanted to fly like Buzz on the bed, and jump.
I am feeling better this morning, about what I thought I;d feel like yesterday. Still can't get any food into me. Oh well that's ok I can stand to lose a pound or 2 or 20 :-)
SO enough of that.
SOunds like things are kind of tough all over huh?
Our 2 yo wakes at 3 for his "bobbie" too, whatever gets me some extra sleep, I'm all for it.

We got about an inch of snow last night. When the girls get home Daddy will take them and the 2 yo out to play in it. Of course he doesn't know that yet, usually I take them out, but am going to milk my 2 days off this week. How bad is that??

Michelle, I've been meaning to tell you when our two older boys were 2 and 3 they were SOOOOO into Batman and Robin. for like a yr. They loved to watch the old batman, you know from the 60's? My step mother made them capes, 3 yo was Batman, 2 yo was Robin. But when we went to buy the material to make the capes the fabric store didn't have any shiny red material for Robin, so we go orange, and he LOVED it anyway.
I have a photo of the two of them with their capes and masks on, I'll see if I can find it and try and post it later.
The 2 yo is really into Buzz Lightyear right now. Infact he lives in his Buzz jammies, thanfully he now owns 7 pairs. He started out with one pair of footie Buzz jammies, the front looks like the front of Buzz, buttons and all, those are still his favorites, but they have a hole in the toe, and are getting a bit too small. Nana found 3 pair for him, but they just have the characters on them. I found some on-line at Disney store that look like the front of Buzz, they were on sale so I got 3 more. They don't have the feet in them, but he loves them.

Well mid-terms are this week and I have a couple of foul teens on my hands! FUN FUN FUN.
I sure hope everyone has a better day today than yesterday! Shelley

Shelley sounds like you are feeling better today. Thats good to hear. Ohhhh...pain is never fun. Milk the 2 days for all you can get....lol You deserve it!!

You reminded me that I need to find more superman shirts. We only have 2 and thats all he will wear. I want them clean but to launder it everyday. Of course dh will just put the dirty one back on. I worked yesterday morning. I arrived home about 11 am and dh is on the computer...what else is new...and my 2 year old has colored his self all over his arms, hands, and legs with green marker. My little green martian....lol

Oh I am so excited I just signed up both boys in a martial arts class. Both will be at different times but it will be to cute.

Shelley I can't wait to see the picture if you find it.

Have a great day! Off to do lots of I am soooo excited about it....lol

Oh my do I have a lot of as well as other housework to get done! I have yet to hear back from the insurance company. I haven't checked my account yet either to see if things got straightened out or not. I don't normally have high blood pressure, but I sure did yesterday and am not wanting that again today!

My ds only wants to wear his Cars shirts these days, unless he sees big bro in a spiderman, superman, or batman shirt. Then he wants one of those. Even there there is 3 yrs between them, 2 yr old DS is tall enough he can wear 5 yr old DS shirts! He isn't as tall yet so he can't wear his pants yet, but his is SUPER tall!

100th day of school

My Ds had to make a poster for the 100th day of school, which will be this coming Friday. They were to make 10 groups of 10 items. We were told to be creative and let it reflect our child's personality.

My ds drew out his plans for his poster! It was so cute!

He put 10 stickers, 10 cars (also stickers), 10 reptiles, 10 animals (animal crackers), 10 bugs (finally got to use some of the foam scrap booking stuff my dh aunt gives me), 10 numbers as he loves math, 10 rocks, 10 berries he found on a bush, 10 acorns and 10 rubber bands! What a boy!!! He is definitely all boy! He had a very hard time narrowing it down and he wanted to include airplanes, ships, space ships and fish! Unfortunately, he wanted to use real dead fish, which were in a baggie in our freezer waiting to be taken back to the store. Dh took them back last night so ds wouldn't be tempted to add them when we weren't looking! LOL! (and ewwwwww, too)

Ani

LOLOLOL!!!! That sounds like a great project! Atleast he won't be tempted by the dead fish anymore since it went back to the store. But the question is did you have 10 fish in the freezer?...lol

Have a great day Ani!

forgot!

I forgot to post this earlier.

Last night we took our dogs on a long walk/run. When we got back and were giving them treats, my 5 yo said, "Mom, look, I can see his P....(boy parts). He has one just like me!" I just said, "Why yes dear, he does."

One day when I was babysitting a couple of little girls, he asked me, thankfully after they left, "where is their p...? Are they broken?" ROFL!!! I just said, "well honey, they are girls and girls don't have those."

Fortunately he didn't ask me why or what we do have!

Oh, Leigh, if this is not allowed to be posted, please delete it for me, I don't mean any harm. Just commented on my boy learning about boy parts!

That is so funny! Learning about body parts is always a fun and sometimes embarassing time. I'll never forget the time dh was showering with my two oldest boys, they were 2 and 3. Well I had the 2 yo out and was drying him when all of a sudden the 3 yo said "BOY DADDEE, you sure have a big pee pee!!" ROFLMAO. I could feel dh's face turning beet red from outside the shower curtain. His respone? Depends upon your perspective!!!" Needless to say that was the last shower he took with the boys.
Another time, sitting at the supper table, they were both 2 and 3, we were talking about adding a baby brother or sister to our family. ANd the 3 yo ask "Where does the baby come from?" I said from the Mommy's tummy. No he says, where does it come from? Well I thought I knew what he meant and said can we talk about this after supper? DH is just sitting there turning fire-engine red, no help what so ever. He says NO, How does the baby get out? I said well..... the baby comes out of the Mommy's Vagina. He thought a minute, looked at his 2 yo brother and said "You came from Mommy's vagina. Well the 2 yo pipes up in his VERY DEEP voice and says "I not come from GINA, I not come from GINA!!""" Talk about rolling on the floor, laughing your fanny off!!!! It was enough to satisfy him though. Shelley
