My husband and I are in the process of adoption our home study is complete our website is up and running and now the hard part we wait. I would love to here from anyone in our situation. Two months ago we were with a birth mother that found us and asked us to adopt her baby long story short she used us for food, money and baby sitting her 9 month old son. Her boyfriend finally came to us and said she had no intensions of placing her baby with us. We were hurt but we wish her the best. What can you do .. Now we are signed up with an agency thats what we should have done in the first place. They know the difference between a birthmother that is going to place and one that is conning . We were thinking withour hearts. Next time we will be much more careful. Love to here from you . Best wishes to all of you.
