Non Id Info
HI ALL, I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE KNEW HOW LONG IT TAKES TO RECEIVE YOU'RE NON ID INFO. i APPLIED FOR MINE BACK IN JANUARY. THEY WROTE TO TELL ME THAT THEY DO HAVE MY FILE, BUT I'VE YET TO RECEIVE ANY INFO. IS THIS NORMAL THAT THE WAIT BE THIS LONG. I'M INSEARCH OF MY BIRTH FAMILY AND NEED THAT TO GET STARTED. I WAS BORN IN OCT 1964. I AM FEMALE FROM A MIXED RELATIONSHIP. ONE PARENT WAS BLACK AND ONE WHITE, DOES THIS SOUND FAMILIAR TO ANYONE.

not sure
I know that in BC they have to give you your papers in 30 working days...which is six weeks. I know in Ontario that there laws are far more lax and I know of one person who has been waiting six months for theirs, I would contact the registry and ask if they have a time limit.
