My name is Jessica and I'm searching for my half sister who was adopted out before I was born.

She was adopted out to a couple named Sue and Rick or Sue and John....not sure of last name.
Her name at birth was Melissa Susan Austin....not sure if adoptive parents changed her name.
Adoptive parents lived in Rhode Island at the time...again not sure if they moved.

Adoption was private, done through the District Attorney: first name Mike not sure of last name
and the adoptive parents lawyer

Mother's name is Susan Austin.
Melissa was born on November 22nd 1984 at Rochester General Hospital Rochester, New York.

We have been searching for a very long time.....so please let me know if you think you might have some knowledge of her
