I was born and adopted in Missouri. I was private, done by attorneys. Where do I go from here? I really don't have much information. Thanks

Hi,
Im a bmom looking for her daughter, who was born and adopted in Missouri..Unfortunately, Missouri isn't adoptee or bparent "friendly", it seems..You can go to the MO Department of Social Services website, and there is a form you can fill out, that will put you on an information registry..From what I've gathered, in reading, the adoptee must have the permission of his/her parents to be able to make contact with bparents..If aparents are deceased, then the adoptee must show proof with death certificates.. I've also gone to www.isrr.com to put myself on the registry, there, also.. Also, posting your bdate and birthplace, and such, here, may help.. Joy |
