Hello to everyone who is reading this. I am somewhat new to this site, at least is the past few years. When I was 18 I came on this site looking for new ways and support to find my birth mother. Life took an unexpected turn and well, 4 years later I am back.
My name is Tracey and I have been searching for my birth mother for some time now. I dont have much information but I am trying with what I have. I recently sent in an ISRR form and a Consent for Contact. I havent heard anything back from the ISRR and I got the consent for contact mailed back and a new address to mail it to. Which is somewhat good because now I have the name and information of the agency that handeled my adoption.
This search has become quite complicated. I have never had a good relationship with my adopted mother and have not had much contact with her in the past 4 years. Well now that my life is back on track I am trying to patch things with her. It has been quite hard.
I am praying for answers, restoration and clousure and I am needing some prayers and support while I do so. I am hoping that I have come to the right place.

Welcome back? I'm sorta new here. I am going to classes to do foster care after raising five of my own. We are also trying to adopt a little 13 year old girl. I knew a little girl named Tracy a long time ago in Chicago. She was the daughter of one of my friends. Her dad took her one day and never brought her back. Funny! Anyway, I am glad you found some info. My husband was adopted in 1953 and we have been searching everywhere for info. He was born in Weisbaden Germany and adopted from an orphanage. We can even find a place who might have his old Birth Record. So we are still praying. We will be praying for you too.
