I need prayers for patience and understanding. We were approved as a foster home in mid-July. My sons --14,10,3--were excited about the idea and my 10 year old can't wait to have someone share his room. We did have an almost placement in August but that fell through. It feels like we are never going to get a placement. I know, depe inside, that there is a plan and that, until the child comes along that needs us , we'll be waiting. But, it's very hard to stay patient.

oh hon i know all about waiting for a foster child.....i have a strong faith and we have been praying that God would send the right child to us and in HIS timing ....we dont want to get into foster parenting if our family will suffer for it....(i.e) foster child emotional state affecting our kids....
i say its best to wait on the Lord....your not alone in the waiting game hon
