Please keep my family in your prayers. I feel the Lord is wanting us to adopt a child and my husband doesn't seem to have much interest in this issue. He worries about the money part. I'm concerned because we have an 8 year old son and I'm afraid we will take so much away from him. I have also felt that the Lord lays things on my heart that my husband does not totally agree with, but sometimes his stability keeps me from jumping in to things too quickly! If it is truly a nudging from the Lord, your husband will eventually feel it too...God does not divide families. If you are worried about taking away time or love from your birth son, don't worry about that! We have 4 homemade kids and we adopted our foster son. He takes a lot of my time and energy because he has special needs, but no one here is suffering because of it...our family has more love now because he is here! Wishing you many blessings!
