I guess I should have done this a while ago...
Where is the passion of Christ in the adoption journey for you?

For me, we were inspired by the Bible to adopt. James makes a command to take care of orphans and widows...There are many spiritual parallels to our adoption by God. The process is so challenging, that I know if I didn't believe with all my heart that God was in control of my life I would never have done it/or finished it. It is hard to be surrendered in the rollercoaster of adoption. I believe we should be and encourage others (in all parts of these forums) to be trusting in God's perfect timing and will. I have limited my references to God on other posts, but always try to give encouraging posts..."useful for building others up"... I hope we can enliven this "faith based" part of the forums...I believe God would like that!

hi im knew to the board and to adoption but i was lifted by your faith in god i feel god lead me to adoption and we r adopting from guat we r as for as referral and POA but no ins yet its been 11 weeks so plz pray for us for that to come in soon pray for officer hamm in doing them i am a true believer in the lord and know everything will happen according to is plan and in his time plz for me to have the strength to be patient and pray for that waiting for god little gift god bless u and thanks for posting i really needed to see that
