We just got back from meeting our daughter for the first time. It was a whirlwind three days with her and we are anxious for the courtdate for the next trip. We had a wonderful time and my husband said on the plane on the way back that he missed her already Just so sweet. She bonded really well with both of us, but really took to my husband. He is the silly guy and she really wanted to be silly.

While we sit here and wait it seems there is quite a bit to do: specialists to line up, work to talk to, learning how to discipline a child with potential Post Traumatic Stress, etc.

We are meeting with the pediatrician this afternoon to get referrals for specialists and I talk to work tomorrow. On we go!

I was reading your blog and you mentioned your kids loved a CD for "learning english" that had all of the kids songs on it. Our daughter who is only three would love that. Can I ask the name? By the way, thanks for posting the blog. Too bad you have to give it up - but the information on the adoption was ver helpful to read.
