Merry Christmas from Krakow

Just a quick post to let everyone know all is well in Krakow, Poland. We bonded two weeks with our three beautiful children and our court date on Dec. 22nd concluded after three hours and only five easy questions.

The children are ours!

We woke up to a beautiful white Christmas. We then took a walk in the snow to the city center, where we took a horse ridden charriot ride to Wawel's Castle and back.

In three more weeks we return back to the US.

To those following our steps - I can only say adoption is difficult no matter where your kids are from. Whether they come from an orphanage or a foster home, like ours.

Loved Wawel. So happy for you and glad you're bonding well and doing some lovely things.

What a fabulous Christmas for you all!

Updates?

Any updates? How are you and the little ones doing (I'm assuming you are home now!).

Home and settling down rapidly. The kids are in pre-school, pre-K, and Kindergarten and doing very well. They're beginning to understand some English and beginning to say a few words in English (woooohooo!).

We got lucky with three really good kids. Our challenges are typical challenges that every parent faces daily.

If anyone else is in the process of adoption from Poland, please send me a private message and I'll do my best to help.

Hylo
