Question 5000 miles movie?

It seems the site for the documentary "5000 miles" is having problems. Any idea what happened? I could find an IMDB entry and a promo on YouTube, but the "official site" is DOA. As it was not a wide-release film, it's not available in the "big-box" online stores (amazon, etc.). Can someone point me to a reputable online store? I've never heard of "Film Baby" before.

Tony

As you go back in the messages, the guy who produced the film posted to tell folks about the film. Perhaps you can private message him and get more information that way.

Tony, I looked for it too recently and could not find it. Too bad. It is a great film. Try to get in touch with Mike Rozumalski, you may be able to find his email on the internet, he does other film productions, I think.

I've ordered it from Film Baby this morning. We'll see how it goes.

I got mine very quickly when I ordered it a year ago and was very impressed with the shipping and such.

I also experienced the same problem. I have seen it only on the Film Baby. On the website it has a link to email the couple that made the movie. I tried that and I have not gotten a response. I would love to see the movie. But it seems to be hard to get a hold of.

I seem to remember hearing or reading a few months back that the Rozumalski family was selling the home in WI. So perhaps they are moving and in transition right now?... It appears that it is still possible to order the film. I hope so, because it is very good!

I got it in the mail recently (at the office) from Film Baby. Included was a nice "heh" bonus in the box, but pretty standard Internet order.

Hey, while you are here, how about an update, how are things with your family since so many of us feel we know you from the film!

Sure! Things are going very well for all of us. Ally has started preschool in a early development program for 3-year olds. The interaction with other children in a structured setting is helping her overcome some of the delays that are common in international adoption. She is also involved in hippotherapy, which involves riding horses for physical therapy benefits. She is about to turn 4 and is a happy, active kid. She loves animals of any kind and she loves to sing and dance whenever the mood strikes her.

I have attached a recent pic of Ally and I. I still can't believe how big she is getting! I can't imagine life without her!
