Manatus-I remember over the last year the many moments when I felt overwhelmed and how difficult it was sometimes. This has eased with the strengthening attachment, but even after a year the kids test and try to manipulate, and push us. (don't all kids do?)

But, there is something magical about doing something together for the second time... We brought them last year and when we came to the US in late November the "good" holiday tangerines were starting to appear in the grocery store. We just bought our first tangerines this year and it really feels like a ritual together that we are repeating. We can look back and say, remember the tangerines we had together last year? However, we will still have a first, first Thanksgiving - we picked them up forever on Thanksgiving day but did not celebrate in Poland.
