thinking about Poland
I am a third generation Polish descendent. We have two bio children and one adopted child from guatemala, and thinking of expanding again. Would anyone be willing to pm me about their adoption experience with Poland? /agency etc... We are currently researching other countries, esp b/c guat was extremely expensive. Would love to see Poland, and to hear about your experiences ..Thanks...Jen

We are adopting from Poland, and we are expecting the cost to be about$30,000 including travel, time of work etc..
I have a blog jessilane.typepad.com There is a category for adoption, you can click on that and check it out...if you want to can e-mail me specific questions. I think that it against rules to state your adoption agency on this board...so you can pm or e-mail me.

One thing I forgot to mention when I PMed you. With other kids at home you will want to consider the possibility that you may have to make a long trip. Most people seem to have been able to do it in two trips of 2-3 weeks for one and a week for the secone, but some people have had to stay for 6 weeks or so. (at least one of you) I know for me this has been a worry, leaving my other children for son long.)

Polish Adoption Experiences
The big question for adoptions from Poland is "How many children do you want?"
I'll send you a PM. |
