It certainly is Emberbit. Where in the Harrisburg/Hershey area? My daughter lives in York, my bson lives in Spring Grove; my dad lives in Mechanicsburg. Actually that area is more central PA than I currently am. Most of my relatives however are within 50 miles of where you are. I hope your day is going well.

I live in little town that is pretty much right between the two (Harrisburg & Hershey), a 10 minute drive to either one. I work in Camp Hill.

I'm currently sitting in a motel in Palmyra where I'm visiting friends. In fact, I'd better close this up and get a move on because I have 10 minutes before I have to be out of here!

MKuhlmann, hi! Congratulations on your finalized adoption. I clicked on your myspace. I have a brother-in-law who works at the Depot. Good luck with your next foster to adopt. What part of Harrisburg do you live in? (My dad lives in Mechanicsburg.)

It looks to me that there might be the possibility of a f2f support group in the Harrisburg area!

I am from Altoona. I just joined this message board this past weekend. Funny to see someone else post from my area soon soon!

Sorry, when I posted that, for some odd reason, it only showed the first post and I paid attention to the date of the last post, which of course was more recent. I didn't realize this thread had been started so long ago.

not a problem! I'm in Altoona several days a month. It's not a very active thread unfortunately. Where are you in the adoption triad? As you can tell from my posts, I am a birthmom in reunion

I currently live outside of Johnstown in a lil town called Cramer. I'm originally from NY...so I know not much help.

I'm an adoptee and a birthmom-just reunited by phone yesterday with my 15 year old daughter. We are meeting the end of the month when Im in NY.

My husband and I are just starting to research the way we need/want to go. We have been unable to conceive after 3 years and have started to look into our other options to becoming parents. We are leaning towards adoption from foster care.
