Today,I was a little depressed with my agency not calling me for placements.I called them to let them know how I felt.No sooner had I got up and went for food,got on my computer there was a message from my worker.She had a sibling group ages 2 and 4 and she asks me was I interested.Well,YES!!!!!!!!
My joy turned to a little sadness because they have chosen several families for these children.Hopefully I will hear something in a few days.
Even if I don't hear the news I want to hear,at least now I know that my telephone can ring

I got a call today about a 12 yr old boy who was/is in a preadoptive home and they are looking for a new preadoptive home (they didn't call me for the long term placement, as they know Im done, but they called to see if I'd provide him respite for the weekend). We said yes of course, as he doesn't seem to be the one causing the disruption from placement.

Hopefully you'll hear something soon!!

They seem to be getting a lot of those.The ''littles'' that they called me for were being moved into another preadoptive home and they called me 2 weeks ago for the same thing.
I don't know how long the process will take for them to call me back but I hope it will be soon either way.
At least I know that they are making calls.Hopefully I will hear from them soon with good news
