My DH and I are undecided on whether to have a bio child or adopt..we currently have two boys and want a third but are not sure on which one to choose? We are 3/4 of the way through the adoption process and because of a mild mitral valve heart condition and overactive thyroid IF I wanted to get pregnant, I would need to do it immediately as I am 36 and would be considered high risk! I want to adopt but am plagued with this dream I have had many times of another bio boy and now am confused on what to do??? Any thoughts cause I am seriously STUCK!

First what if you have a girl, will that be okay with you??? Also there are many blessing in adopting and also a lot of patience, the process takes long. When you adopt just be ready for new challenges. We have 1 bio son we would love to have another baby, we've been trying for 3 years. We are now foster parents and have a 5 [bio],3,2,1, and also we will probally being getting a newborn in may and really I wouldn't have it any other way but it's not for everyone. Also think of your body and recovering from having a baby. Hope you find your answer soon.

If I had a bio girl, they'd probably have to revive me..I would be so shocked, but any child, girl or boy would be awesome! My DH and I took 3 years to have our boys, I had an MC before my two boys. DH is considered sterile, but after many years and dollars of infertility treatment and then giving up and getting prayed over at church...3 weeks later I got pregnant ON OUR OWN, with no help at all with our first son. Second son took 1 month to conceive. So for whatever reason I just know that if we wanted another, the infertility wouldn't be an issue again..but due to my health...I have thought about adoption for years. We got officially licensed for foster care adoption since this post in November and did get a call for an infant, who wasn't a good match for our family. So we are in the process of awaiting a match IF its Gods will. We have decided to put off another bio child and see how the adoption works out and who knows, we are thinking now of maybe adopting and then re-considering another bio child later. Only God knows what will happen. But we figure if we adopt, we are pursuing a girl for sure!
