I am going to be going through Montgomery county. They do place within their own pool first then go to private agencies. In philadelphia I know of at least four children under 4 that were on the photo listing within the past two months. I guess it depends on which agency they call first. I live in philadelphia, but went with Montgomery County because of the break down in philadelphia to a TON of private groups, there is no 'central' agency in philly. I've been told they are having trouble finding people to take kids so young....we are 1 month away from finalization and our worker warned us it could be quite possible we would get a placement same day/ same week.

I remember seeing those children under 4 on the PA photolisting. I know some of those children where scheduled to be placed with their foster parents and the kids on the listing get a lot of homestudies sent in. At first I focused on being placed as a foster parent, but now I am looking at all the photolisting nationally. Could you send me a private message with the name of your agency in Montgomery County? I really like my agency; however, I would like to keep my options open.
