Foster to adopt using Catholic Charities
I am a newbie to the board, but have been lurking around. I was wondering if anyone has gone through Catholic Charities in PA, and what their thoughts were.
Or, if not, any info is appreciated on the foster to adopt process in PA? Would CC use the SWAN network, and the statewide system in order to find a match? Also, any time estimate from getting the paperwork in and approved to placement, provided everything goes well with the paperwork? Thanks so much! |

Alexa,
Welcome. My husband and I are using Catholic Charities in Philadelphia right now. Thrilled with their services...everyone from the recruiter, case worker to their many supervisors have been wonderful...if you have anymore questions feel free to pm me. Uncertain of how involved with SWAN they are...our paperwork was extensive but anticipate 6 months from paperwork to licensing if everything flies and your references are on point with getting info in...also when classes are scheduled could affect getting this accomplished... Good Luck to you. Pat |
