I was wondering how long the classes are. Are they once a week or daily? Did you have to travel far to attend them? Did you have to pay a fee for the classes or your homestudy? How much?

hi,
i live in pa too. my husband i attended the pride classes, just finished as a matter of fact. we attended about 6 wednesday night sessions, approx 2 - 2 1/2 hours each. and we also had 2 all day saturday sessions. the classes were held at the agency we are working with. and there is no cost to us. the agency takes care of providing us with the foster training.
we had 3 interviews. the first was both my husband and i with the caseworker, in the second one, the caseworker interviewed us individually. and the third was in our home and included our home inspection. again, our foster agency takes care of all of this.
other than that.. there was a lot of paper work to fill out, and hand in.
we have just been approved, and are told they already have a sibling group (2yr old and 3 yr old boy and girl) they want to place with us. its so exciting.
